Resumen
This work arose from the need to build processes of recognition of others from the approach of the literary text, from an intercultural point of view to promote the development of critical thinking in ninth grade youth, starting from the analysis of the poetic creation of César Vallejo. The research methodology, within the framework of the master's degree in education, was based on a qualitative approach from the study of the actors in specific situations, through the ethnographic method, the analysis of discourse and their relationships, based on interculturality, critical thinking and poetic creation as categories that founded and mainstreamed the process. Likewise, the investigative experience made possible the construction of the subject from a new ethical and political sensitivity constituted from dialogue, the value of difference and respect for the other to facilitate the formation of a different types of citizenship mediated by analysis, reflection, and criticism.
