Resumen
In Colombia there is a population of approximately 595,288 people in visual impairment and many of them are illiterate. These people are in rural areas and many of them have difficulty acquiring a sheet with the right characteristics for Braille writing. Currently there are different alternatives proposed by institutions, in which these people can have an appropriate literacy learning process. These processes need the help and accompaniment of teachers or people with knowledge in braille system in order to carry out the correct transcription of each of the texts. However, in these processes, problems are evident at the time of transcription, since it requires teachers to spend a lot of time in the process, in this way the learning of blind people is affected, since errors are not quickly and efficiently reported. Considering that this is a difficult process and that the transcription of each of the sheets has a certain value, it causes high costs to be presented on the learning modules offered by the institutions, directly affecting the population of the blind because, not all have the economic resources to bear these costs and this is one of the reasons why a social gap is generated that prevents people from blind people get an education
