Resumen
The hotel industry in Colombia has undergone a significant transformation with the arrival of the first capsule hotel chain in the country, an innovative proposal that redefines the lodging experience by combining comfort, quality and affordable prices. With more than three years in the market, this initiative has demonstrated its profitability and attractiveness, operating three strategic locations in Bogotá and in the process of expanding to Medellín. Backed by a growing base of satisfied customers and the support of investors after its participation in Shark Tank Colombia, the chain faces challenges related to reservation management due to its dependence on intermediaries. To address this limitation, it is proposed to develop its own reservation system that optimizes the customer experience, reduces operating costs and consolidates its leadership in the capsule hotel industry in Colombia. This solution seeks not only to enhance its competitiveness, but also to position the company as a benchmark in innovation and efficiency within the sector.
