Lineamientos De Priorización De Áreas Para Desarrollo De Esquemas De Pago Por Servicios Ambientales - Caso Microcuenca Río Negro (Sumapaz - Cundinamarca)

Abstract

Looking to recognize, identify and describe the schemes of payments for enviromental service (PES) executed in the jurisdiction of the Autonomus Regional Corporation of Cundinamarca (ARC), the identification of the potential areas for the development of schemes of PES and the estimation of oportunity cost of the same. It was obtained with information about of implementation, compensation and estructuration of schemes in program BanCO2 of ARC Cundinamarca for the microbasin Rio Negro (Sumapaz) together with information coming of related actors of the municipalities of Pandi, Arbelaéz and San Bernardo, as an input for the identification of successes and failures in the structure of PES schemes. With this information, is determined the importance of identify potential areas for the development of schemes PES with parameters more specific than used for ARC Cundinamarca; For this, were identified in the microbasin the enviromental services of formation and composition of soils for the reduction of mass removal phenomena, and provisioning and regulation of hidric resource; later, were identified the coverage inside of areas object of payment. Once was realized the identify of areas, is obtained the oportunity cost with financial reference, required for the implementation of PES schemes in this microbasin.
