El mundo de los niños y cuentos de buenas noches para niñas rebeldes: una mirada desde los imaginarios de género

Abstract

Gender has been one of the fundamental pillars in social organization, therefore, it has a historical evolution full of transformations in the ways of being, acting and being of the subjects. This being so, this research project focuses on investigating how gender role imaginaries are represented in Children's Literature and how these affect the construction of subjects. In this way, our analysis is a documentary study focused on two historical moments in Colombia (20th century and 21st century), in which throughout three chapters we analyze if there is a difference in the way in which genders are portrayed depending on its historical context and how these determine imaginaries of gender roles, thus, the corpus chosen for this research are: The world of children (Volume III: Children from all over the world) and Goodnight stories for rebellious girls (Volume I ).
