Resumen
This document shows the construction and analysis of electricity generation assembly from the Rankine cycle considering a the (PDSC) Parabolic Dish Solar Collector’s located at the Faculty Technology, District University of Bogotá “Francisco Jose de Caldas”, which provides heat that can extract of solar radiation, to contribute to the vaporization of the working fluid.A thermodynamic system consists of a pump, the PDSC, an electric boiler, a turbine, and a cooling tower, assembled with measurement and control elements as manometers, thermocouples, flow meter, pyranometer, etc.; established to quantify the work and heat is removed or circulating water brings to mind the principle of conservation of energy or First Law of Thermodynamics. From cycle function tests, it was determined the minimum conditions for electricity generation but that the necessary adjustments can be improved.
