Resumen
The central purpose of this work consists in propose a comprehension about the teaching of social sciences, whose exercise promote thinking skills necessary for the exercise of critical and committed citizenship with the constru ction of a culture increasingly democratic. For this, some categories are taken of the sociohistory theory elaborated by Gerard Noiriel, with the objective to configure an interpretation of the social sciences, hinged to the critical perspective of society ; also is proposed the development of critical thinking skills: analyze, infer, explain, argue and evaluate like key tools for students to achieve to elaborate a vision of the social reality (in the classroom it was realized principally by analyzing media that earns in a process of citizen participation, truly informed, therefore committed to the respect of others and political participation. The strategy that guides this research adheres to a mixed approach which it took place in a context of the action re search, when consists in an inquiry collective introspective, undertaken by the selected participants which they operate in a social context that has for objective to improve the nationality and the justice of their social or educational practices, as well as gaining an understanding of these practices and the situations that occur in these. In this order of ideas the practical part of the project is realized with a focal group of ten students belonging to cycle five of the Floridablanca IED. Finally, the w above) in the focal ork presents a diagnostic description of the critical thinking skill u se (listed group students, which served as a starting point to propose a strategy based in the analyzing media, it allowed to motivate in the students the concern and interest to improve these skills, and with this, a greater sense of responsibility for the participation in their role as citizens.
