Resumen
A landscaping design proposal was made for "El Escape", property of the company Dosis Verde S.A.S., which is located in the municipality of Útica, Cundinamarca, and where activities related to ecotourism are currently carried out. Initially, a diagnosis was made of the visual, landscape and component features of the property, in addition to identifying the needs of the company and the interests that users might have. In the first place, a zoning was proposed, identifying the current and potential activities of the property to organize them spatially; the division resulted in 5 main areas: camping, extreme sports, sighting of fauna and two ornamentals, the “Guayacanes” and the orchard. The second step was the choice of plant species, taking into account the predilection of tourists towards certain characteristics (Such as the size and color of the flowers, edible fruits, among others) and then, with the participation of the company's personnel, 15 species were chosen to be incorporated into the arrangement. The third stage was the formulation of the administration and management plan for the property, which specified the particularities of the proposal, such as the creation of trails, the inclusion of signage and the distribution, establishment and management of the plants. Subsequently, the proposal was evaluated by the administrative staff of the company, to define its scope and significance, demonstrating that this could result in a positive contribution with moderate beneficial effects. Finally, the monetary costs to execute the proposal were estimated, which amount to 18’481.250 COP (2018 year), and perform the appropriate management during the first five years, adding 2’720.811 COP for the first year, 1’475.661 COP for the second, 1’212.261 COP for the third and 1’374.961 COP for the fourth and fifth year.
