Supervisión e interventoría de infraestructuras de espacio público y señalización vial en intersecciones del barrio antiguo country

Abstract

Administradora Country S.A.S. carried out a road and public space improvement project in the Antiguo Country neighborhood, related to the new Country Clinic, awarding the works to FERRERÍA S.A.S. on July 1, 2023. These interventions included the signaling and traffic light installation at key intersections, the construction of a raised crossing (“paso pompeyano”), and the conversion of certain streets to two-way traffic, significantly enhancing mobility and safety in the area. The contract covered not only the execution of the works but also the review of designs and the management of permits with local authorities. To ensure proper oversight, Administradora Country S.A.S. signed a second contract with MAB Ingeniería de Valor S.A. on July 26, 2023, entrusting them with project supervision and guaranteeing compliance with technical and regulatory standards. Within this context, the internship at MAB Ingeniería de Valor S.A. provided valuable practical experience, allowing hands-on involvement in the technical supervision and control processes. By applying topographic engineering knowledge in design review and regulatory conformity, the intern played a key role in ensuring project quality and fulfillment of requirements, thus enhancing both professional skills and competencies in public works supervision.
