The content of this document describes the process to develop DisPav (v1.0) in Android language that allows the design of rigid and flexible pavement structures by entering base data requested by the generated application, the calculations that are carried out during the process are based on the AASHTO 93 method. To achieve this objective, it is necessary to carry out examples manually and in the same way to develop a spreadsheet with the implementation of computer tools such as Excel. Once the method is established, a tool from MIT (Massachusetts Institute of Technology) is implemented, supplying the application with information already known such as level of reliability, initial and final serviceability, type of pavement, number of equivalent axes, quality of drainage, modulus of rupture of the different layers that make up the pavement, among others, in order to obtain the structural number and thickness of the layers that will form part of the flexible pavement and the rigid pavement according to the needs of each user. In this way, a practical, accessible and easy-to-interpret tool is obtained, which delivers reliable results. To achieve a reliable validation of the application, we will have a test environment and application of exercises proposed by several authors in order to test the equations and adapt the process that allows us to develop a mobile application for the Android operating system.
