This paper pretends to show both the origin of the idea that lead to the implementation of an industrial process based on a SCADA system where the operator can monitor and control the process remotely, take decisions and change the limits of the variables based on its needs, as well as the step by step of development itself, the difficulties regarding the initial approach, its solutions, and the results obtained.

El presente trabajo pretende mostrar tanto el origen de la idea que dio lugar a la implementación de un proceso industrial basado en un sistema SCADA donde el operador puede monitorear y controlar el proceso remotamente, tomar decisiones y cambiar los límites de las variables basado en sus necesidades, como el paso a paso del desarrollo del mismo, las dificultades respecto al planteamiento inicial, sus soluciones, y los resultados obtenidos.
