Resumen
The Latin American catalog of works for clarinet is quite broad; to carry out this work, a selection of works was made where examples of technical resources that can serve as a guide for the clarinet student. In this work are explored the works Estudio # 5 by Mauricio Murcia, Tres Piezas for Clarinet Solo by Blas Emilio Atehortúa, Triptych for Clarinet # 1 by Andrés Posada and Cinco Sketches for Clarine Solo by Roberto Sierra; Although these elements are found in other repertoires, these pieces were selected for the richness that they can represent at the level of technical resources that can be used for clarinet teachers and students to delve into the music of Latin America and explore its pedagogical use. Given that the technical resources are presented from concrete works, in this document the composers are contextualized, in recognition of their work and the contribution made to the repertoire of the clarinet. This work is a tribute to the work of clarinetist Guillermo Marín, who wrote the document Cinco Obras by Alejandro Sánchez and its application in the teaching of the clarinet (2011), a work where an invitation is made to the technical study of the clarinet based on the five works by clarinetist and composer Alejandro Sánchez; Marín's work served as inspiration and starting point for this investigative and pedagogical work in favor of Latin American music written for clarinet to contribute more substantially to the professional training of any clarinet interpreter.
