Diagnóstico de la gestión del riesgo químico en los programas territoriales de enfermedades transmitidas por vectores en Colombia 2021

Abstract

The present work refers to a diagnosis for chemical risk management in the territorial vector-borne disease (VTE) programs in the Territorial Health Directorates (DTS) by identifying the risks and evaluating the chemical hazards of workers, taking into account the exposure to pesticides and other chemical substances of approximately 1500 auxiliaries and technicians who carry out daily field and administrative activities. This is why 24 of the 37 Territorial Health Directorates (DTS) that met the established inclusion criteria were selected and participated in this diagnosis, in which recommendations are included that can be contemplated within the occupational safety and health management system under the guidelines of the integrated management systems of ISO 31000:2018 and ISO 45001:2018.
