Apoyo a la actualización cartográfica de la cabecera Municipal del Municipio de Juan de Acosta en el Departamento de Atlántico

Abstract

The municipality of Juan de Acosta, Atlántico in 2020 has a very outdated cartography, as for the municipal seat, the largest scale plates that are found are 1: 10000 from the year 1980, this does not allow instruments to be correctly implemented to the planning of the development nor the territorial ordering of the municipality. This information can be clearly seen in the 2016-2019 Municipal Development Plan, which shows maps belonging to the Polonuevo Territorial Ordering Scheme from 2001, currently this scheme has not been updated for 18 years, something that is not practical for the entities territorial nor does it comply with the regulations regarding this matter. The project "SUPPORT TO THE CARTOGRAPHIC UPDATE OF THE MUNICIPAL HEADQUARTERS OF THE MUNICIPALITY OF JUAN DE ACOSTA IN THE DEPARTMENT OF ATLÁNTICO" proposes as a solution to said cartographic outdated the creation of a basic cartographic of the municipal capital at a scale of 1: 5000, which currently does not is available, which allows the territorial entity to have a useful tool that is of great help when it comes to implementing planning and ordering instruments in its constituency. For this, the basic cartography scale 1: 25000 of the IGAC of the year 2010 was used as tools, as well as the satellite images provided by the ArcGIS software with its base map, and a mosaic created from image clippings from the Google Earth software from March of this year. With this, we proceeded to collect the information that was had for the subsequent creation of the layers that would make up the basic cartography in ArcGIS to obtain as a result the map with the basic cartography of the municipal head of Polonuevo at a scale of 1: 5000.
