Propuesta de mejora en los procesos y análisis de información de la división de ventas de Systems Hardware IBM en el clúster de Centroamérica, Colombia y Venezuela aplicando herramientas LEAN y de manejo de información

Abstract

The purpose of this project is to design an improvement proposal for the information management of the Systems Hardware division for the cluster of Central America, Colombia and Venezuela, through the use of the lean tool of the 5S and information management techniques . For this, in a first stage an initial diagnosis was carried out in order to identify the information needs of each of the positions that make up the division. From the information collected, cleaning and standardization protocols were developed, which reduce the amount of information stored in the repositories that do not add value to the operations and processes of the unit, the information processing times, and allow the relationship of multiple databases of interest to the unit. To facilitate data interpretation, five dynamic dashboards were designed using Cognos software on the IBM Cloud Park Data platform. Each dashboard shows the behavior of the key indicators and variables of interest for each focus group. To ensure the correct implementation of the dashboards, information update manuals and flow charts were created that indicated the step by step. Finally, an audit tool was proposed for the follow-up and monitoring of the protocols and dashboards.
