Estudio petrográfico comparativo de material Pétreo (Grava) proveniente de los centros de distribución de Subachoque y Cemex ubicados en el municipio de Subachoque y localidad de Usme respectivamente, definiendo el material potencialmente más reactivo al Álcali agregado.

Resumen
The work in the modality of monograph to opt for the degree of technology in civil constructions, consisted in a study of an aggregate stony, specifically gravel, which is used in the manufacture of hydraulic concrete. This aggregate studied comes from collection centers located in the municipality of Subachoque and in the locality of Usme. The research was developed in order to characterize the material and compare the mineralogical composition of the stone aggregate from the collection centres mentioned above. By means of a study petrographic defines the percentage of minerals that make up mostly gravel and is released the most reactive to the aggregate alkali. Finished the study defines that the gravel more reactive to the action to the alkali added is from the center of collection of Subachoque by its high content of sodium (Na), potassium (K) and hydroxides (OH) and also by its physical characteristics it is concluded as the most Suitable for the elaboration of a hydraulic concrete according to the laboratories carried out.
