Comparación de sobreanchos calculados por INVIAS y AASHTO y modelación en vehicle tracking para velocidades de 40, 50,60 y 70 km por hora para vehículos articulados

Abstract

The project will make a comparison of the calculation of the widening with the formulation of the Colombian regulations and with the American Association of Political Roads and Transport Officials (AASHTO) for different radii established in the two standards at different speeds for articulated vehicles, and compare them with the modeled widths. The modeling will be carried out in the Vehicle Tracking Software for the different characteristics of the road, in order to make the comparison with the previous calculations, showing how the width varies according to the radius and deflection angles of each section previously designed in civil 3D. With the aforementioned, the project proposal is to make a comparison of the widths calculated by INVIAS and AASHTO with those specified for modeling in Vehicle Tracking for speeds of 40, 50.60 and 70 km per hour, different lane widths and different deflection angles, which can visualize the differences between what is modeled and what it refers to. With this comparison of the widths calculated against the previous models of the regulations based on the design of the 3D civil curve, the different variations that the width shows and the characteristics that the path affected directly to this element are determined.
