Resumen
Building us together: Gender relations between boys and girls, it is a research experiment conducted in the District Educational Institution Carlos Arango Velez, located in the eighth zone of Kennedy in Bogota, where he sought to analyze how boys and girls establish gender relations at school, based on their speeches and knowledge, which are permeated by the dynamics of context, such as the paternalistic practices, conditions of inequality, discrimination, among other stereotypical conditions are evident at national and local level.
This research is qualitative, in which use of a methodology of analysis about the phenomenon studied, in this case becomes gender relations between boys and girls in school (IED Carlos Arango Vélez), through the creation a focus group allowed to consider the speeches of children and adolescents (NN / a) grade 602 and likewise obtain the information which was subsequently analyzed under the methodological approach of critical discourse analysis.
According to the above, this research only takes up the first three phases of the methodological approach of critical discourse analysis proposed by Wodak & Meyer (2002) consisting of a process of data collection, followed by the Structure of Sense and ends in Sequence analysis. While the purpose of the author is to generate a critical discourse analysis, this would not be possible without first performing an initial analysis of this, specifically where this research is to generate possible future paths of reflection and critical analysis.
