Abstract

This feasibility study focuses on the acquisition of a heat sealing machine by Quick Help S.A.S, a company dedicated to the provision of logistics services. The need to automate manufacturing and service processes has become crucial to compete in a diverse market and meet customer expectations. Current operational efficiency was evaluated and stakeholder acceptance for the packaging material change was identified. The study includes a quantitative approach that allows a generalizable view of the problem, using statistical methods to analyze numerical data. Diagnostics of operating costs were carried out, as well as an analysis of the potential demand for the equipment. The results indicate that the implementation of the machine is not only viable from a financial point of view, with an ROI of 64.14%, but will also contribute to the reduction of operating costs and the increase in product demand, thanks to the improvement in the quality of the packaging
