Resumen
In the regional hospital San Rafael de Fusagasugá recently carried out a project which consists of changing luminaires from fluorescent lamps to LED luminaires with the aim of reducing electricity consumption in the lighting system, the problem is that this project was carried out based on common sense as they were based on the fact that LEDs consume less power and therefore less electrical energy, then the project was implemented without taking into account any technical regulations, Therefore, in this work, the project carried out in the hospital is analysed in depth and its implementation is justified from different points of view, as satisfactory results are shown regarding the many benefits of this lighting technology such as greater energy efficiency, both social and environmental benefits and a small analysis of prices comparing the implementation of the project with the two technologies (LED and fluorescent) in the short and long term. An analysis of the current state of a part of the hospital's electrical system (Related to lighting) is also carried out and compared with what is stipulated in the RETIE and RETILAP.
