Abstract

At present GMK seeks to optimize the process in the metrology division, strengthening its operation and improving response times to internal and external customers, due to the growth of the last three years in its operation. In addition, compliance with the international standard for the calibration of equipment in the physical temperature variable must be guaranteed. It will be carried out the survey of indicators of the existing documentation, which will design and model the current architecture and analyze the changes necessary for the improvement, considering that the proposed model is aligned with the possible variations of the organization in the middle long term. It analyzes the simulation of the model of a proposed information system and is documented in such a way that it allows the decision making based on metrics and indicators. The use of an appropriate methodology for the design of an information system for the company would allow the improvement of the quality of the service, guaranteeing an appropriate quality standard and helping to be the basis for the decision making and thus contribute to the improvement keep going.
