This research project was developed with boys and girls from 8 to 11 years old and had the purpose of strengthening emotional intelligence to achieve a healthy school coexistence in the 301 (2018) and 401 (2019) years of the I.ED school. Florentino González from the city of Bogotá. The project was run for two years, with the idea of promoting emotional intelligence (intra and interpersonal), thus strengthening healthy school coexistence, which is why, through three phases: Identification of the context (I); exploration and recognition of emotions promoting intrapersonal intelligence (II); and the strengthening of interpersonal intelligence (III), it sought to answer the question How to strengthen healthy school coexistence in boys and girls in grade 301-401 of the Florentino González school, promoting emotional intelligence through games and the arts plastic ?. In this way, we resort to strategies such as puppets, the game of rules, molding, contemplation, engraving and an emotional journal to promote the recognition and management of emotions. We also incorporate dialogue, cooperative and team games to develop interpersonal intelligence, alluding to empathy and assertive communication. This research also addresses positions such as that of Daniel Goleman and Howard Garner regarding emotional intelligence and that of Humberto Maturana regarding a healthy school coexistence. This was a qualitative investigation, with an action research methodology in education framed from the perspective of John Elliott.
