Resumen
The knowledge of radiochemistry that is manifested in our lives through the multiple medical, agricultural, and energy technologies with which we live, is not given importance in chemistry teaching curricula. With the purpose of generating contributions to the teaching of radiochemistry, a didactic unit was revealed together with two teachers in training of the Bachelor of Chemistry program. The didactic unit is oriented to the study of nuclear reactions and applications in contemporary energy developments, that had the implication of knowledge around the nature of science and its relationship with the didactics of science. Teachers in training who, in addition to recognizing the didactic value of radiochemistry, showed a positive attitude towards the inclusion of NdC and its relationship to the didactics of sciences.
