Resumen
Through this final project, the objective is to analyze the technical, environmental, social and financial viability of hydrogel in a cape gooseberry (Physalis peruviana) crop in the municipality of Buenavista - Boyacá, Colombia.In the first chapter, the uchuva (Physalis peruviana) and hydrogel (Potassium acrylate) were technically described, a comparison was made between the Hydrogel (Potassium Acrylate) and the Sodium Polyacrylate, the model was applied for the identification of the place and the field of cultivation in the uchuva culture of the el Contento farm in the municipality of Buenavista - Boyacá, the analysis was made to the environmental variable Field Capacity (CC) before and after the use of the hydrogel and finally, The pilot test at el Contento farm in the municipality of Buenavista - Boyacá, fulfilling the first objective of the present project "To evaluate the technical aspects to be applied hydrogel in a culture of uchuva (Physalis peruviana) in the municipality of Buenavista - Boyacá". In chapter two, the environmental aspects and impacts of a uchuva culture with and without hydrogel were identified, the environmental benefits of the hydrogel were established in the uchuva culture and a study of the variables dependent on water availability was carried out ( Precipitation and temperature), taking into account the historical ones. In chapter three, it was determined whether the application of the hydrogel met the social interests expected by the municipality of Buenavista - Boyacá, fulfilling the third objective of this project. To do this, the people involved in the project were determined, the survey was developed and applied as a method for collecting information and an analysis of stakeholders was carried out In chapter four, the production cost quantification model was applied in a uchuva crop under good agricultural practices, prepared by the Secretary of Agriculture and Rural Development of the Government of Antioquia along with SENA, for the quantification of cost and benefit obtained by the application of the hydrogel in a uchuva crop in the municipality of Buenavista-Boyacá, for that purpose a flow of funds was elaborated and with that a decision indicators were constructed.
