Abstract

In recent years, there has been notable rapid advancement in mobile telecommunications technology. This has necessitated ongoing updates and modernization efforts within these systems. In the course of an internship project, the urgent requirement to modernize a 4G network used by a telecommunications service provider is addressed. The existing 4G network has reached the end of its useful life and lacks essential features and technologies present in contemporary networks. Consequently, the project proposes the design and implementation of a new network to replace the existing one. Throughout this endeavor, various crucial steps integral to the new network's design are identified, and an implementation plan is formulated to ensure a smooth transition from the current network. Additionally, it ensures the seamless integration of various supplementary elements within the existing 4G system. Thorough testing is conducted to guarantee the new network's flawless operation before its eventual commissioning.
