At present, the high demand for renewable energy has grown due to the increase in the cost of energy, on the other hand, in some rural or residential areas of the country access to this service is more expensive, likewise in some cases its supply is deficient. Therefore, some people choose to access renewable energy alternatives such as photovoltaics. Being a very good alternative since our country has a privileged position, obtaining a very good radiation from the Sun every day of the year. An important part for the implementation of photovoltaic systems is sizing, which is an important factor in this type of solution, since it takes time to carry out the analysis of the design or sizing of the project, since the technical area visits the site only to analyze and collect the data, to later be delivered and processed on a computer in a place where the software or spreadsheet is kept, to later deliver an estimate to the person who requires the installation, generating an increase in the estimation and execution times, additionally that can lead to inaccuracies in data collection. Given the above arguments, an application for Android systems was designed, developed and implemented for the sizing of photovoltaic solar energy systems for rural or urban solutions of less than 200 kWh per month, this application allows for load study calculations or consumption analysis In electrical energy, it additionally obtains the actual location through the phone's GPS hardware to obtain data on the average number of hours of solar radiation at the installation site, to finally generate estimates for the required panels, batteries, regulators, and inverters. for the installation reducing time, data transcription errors and future costs in the installation.
