Resumen
This monograph was developed under the qualitative approach, specifically from the pedagogical action research; it seeks to answer the question of how to promote genuine children's participation in the student council of children from pre-school to fifth grade at el Rodeo I.E.D. school (Morning session) through a pedagogical strategy based on play. To this end, a judicious frame of reference is presented that seeks to give solides and rigour to the research carried out, while at the same time allowing the pertinence of the proposal to be glimpsed. In this way, the research project highlights the importance of recognizing and validating the participation of children in their daily lives, in order to achieve a more democratic society, where they in relationships of otherness build their world and that of others.
