Resumen
The pedagogical research project is a proposal to strengthen geographic education and citizenship training. To this end, it develops a triad of concepts on migration, territory and cultural practices at a theoretical, methodological and practical level. Thus, it aims to understand the appropriation of the territory by the students of grade nine one of the Institución Educativa República Bolivariana de Venezuela and how from some cultural practices the daily life of such appropriation is reflected in a reflection on migratory movements. This is developed through instruments such as field diaries and workshops in the classroom, which allow to give meaning to the specific objectives of the project and to capture some results within the cartography.
