Abstract

This thesis focuses on the study of lighting in the workplaces of the company Elegant Home, with the aim of evaluating whether they meet the quality requirements of lighting in work spaces, promoting the safety and well-being of employees. Through measurements of light intensity in various work areas, aspects such as light intensity and uniformity factor are analyzed. In this context, the existing lighting in the different positions is compared with the parameters established by the RETILAP standard. Lighting contour graphs are used to evaluate the uniformity conditions of light, and to suggest possible improvements aligned with the standards of the standard, ensuring that the work spaces are in optimal lighting conditions. As a result, practical recommendations are proposed to improve lighting in the workplaces, in order to create a healthier and more efficient work environment.
