Abstract

In the present work of degree was realized the analysis, development, implementation and revision of the module of contractors of the system Titan, which calculates the accruals and discounts that are applied to the contractors that have a contractual bond within the District University Francisco José Of Caldas. Taking into account the previous analysis, the data model was unified so that it was valid for both the contractors module and the other payrolls to be taken into account and, subsequently, the process for calculating the amounts to be paid to the contractors By means of a knowledge base translated into business rules. Also, a functional prototype was elaborated that allows to visualize the obtained results, which were compared with the current process of payroll settlement of contractors, contrasting the effort in the generation of the payroll by these two processes. At the end of the development process, the improvement in times and results with the new system could be evidenced, streamlining a series of strenuous processes for those in charge of payroll generation, without giving up human talent but ensuring the quality of their work. In the same way, this work opened doors for future developments in OAS as the pre-liquidation and settlement process presented here can be complemented with other projects that support and / or extend the functionalities developed.
