Resumen
This deepening project is developed in the specialty of industrial maintenance, a program offered at the technical secondary level of the CEDID Ciudad Bolívar school and aims to deepen on STEM education, and the design and implementation of emerging projects in the context of technical education. Through these strategies it is sought to generate an education that prepares students in the use of science and technology; building knowledge according to an eminently technological society for the second decade of the 21st century, a moment that demands new skills that must be developed at school A methodological proposal for technical secondary education based on STEM is made that seeks to resort to interdisciplinary to build knowledge, by approaching the competence: "Solve technological problems and evaluate solutions taking into account the conditions, restrictions and specifications of the problem posed." (MEN, 2008, p 23). Applying the PDI engineering design process. And seeking to develop processes: pedagogical, didactic and innovative in teaching and training of an industrial nature. The objective is to describe how this proposal impacts the students, by applying the knowledge of the different areas to be able to solve a problem in the context of the environmental pollution problem, and in turn develop a PDE engineering design process that will be reflected in the construction of artifactual prototypes mediated by a virtual EVA learning environment.
