Cálculo de Curvas Intensidad- Duración- Frecuencia Empleando Métodos Estadísticos y Probabilísticos sobre Información Pluviográfica de las Estaciones el Carbón y Sena Correspondientes al Área Operativa de la Red Meteorológica del IDEAM en el Departamento de Boyacá

Abstract

In this research the construction study and calculations of IDF (Intensity Duration Frequency) curves were conducted in order to make a report that supply the lack of stations in some specific points of the country. A study using stadistical and probabilistic methods for pluviographic information of two metereological stations placed in the Boyacá Department, called “El Cardón” and “Sena” these stations have records since 40 and 20 years respectively. There stations assesses data related to two hidrographic streams Socotá and Sogamoso. To Carry out this process the IDF curves were based on plotted the provided data by the technical files of the IDEAM of the stations above which record pluviographic information of the towns above. Forthe tables elaboration a process was done allowing the data analysis and a stadistical and probabilistic distribution model application to get the IDF curves plotted and calculated with the respective relation equations for each of the studied stations. In the Boyacá Department case, there are places where the pluviographic stations were not found and there for the rainfall records dont exist. The purpose of this graduation Project, with help of the UDENS research group of the Universidad Distrital Francisco José de Caldas, is do some research about the given stations (El Cardón and Sena), plot the IDF curves for these stations adding records for each of the towns.
