ArcFraVi: Herramienta geográfica del software ArcGIS para la valoración de la fragilidad visual del paisaje

Abstract

The present document focuses on the development of a geographic tool aimed at evaluating the visual fragility of the landscape in environmental studies conducted in Colombia. By leveraging the features of Geographic Information System software and automating spatial analysis, the tool optimizes workflows and ensures precise and reliable results for informed decision-making in environmental management. The geographic tool is developed using ArcGIS software and the Python programming language. It identifies both functional and non-functional requirements, and defines an optimized analysis process to assess the visual fragility of the landscape. Subsequently, a functional prototype is constructed and subjected to usability tests, ensuring adherence to the initial development requirements set for the tool.
