Resumen
The chair of water is a space where different experts' interests exchange experiences regarding water technology and education. One of its initiatives is based on the development scheme of the UD research groups within the framework of the Bacata IT Network in an inter-institutional alliance. In this sense, the project is part of the DRM (development, rurality, and municipality) and PROGASP research hotbed. It aims to the objectives of education, communication, and dissemination within the multimedia broadcast program. This also provides an educational tool that is the fusion of the compiled Database with an interactive panel that works as a search filter for free access graphic pieces and for audio-video platforms. They focus on the different techniques and technologies of water, from the last 10 years, for the good management of the hydrological resource. They are in two languages, Spanish and English. The project provides the user with knowledge about the rational use of water for different usages around the world. This is presented in a didactic way, reinforcing the knowledge on which the chair of water is based, and contributing to the teaching and learning processes. Similarly, the project has as its concept the educational computing, which encourages and supports teachers to use technologies as educational mechanisms. In this sense, the database provides pedagogues with a way to provide information about water and its importance today for the adaptation to climate change and the scarcity of fresh water. This work, in the first instance, was developed under a categorization map and criteria, then a semantic analysis of the information was made, and it was structured in a database that was later transformed into an interactive dashboard. Microsoft tools such as excel, SQL server, Power BI and video applications accessible to the general public were used for the project.
