Resumen
In the last decade, the protection and restoration of ecosystems has become a global priority, awakening a collective conscience that rejects the idea it's threatened, unprotected and abandoned, generating multiple debates over time about the sustainable use and the dynamics that go against it. Considering that the Pacific region takes up 9.1% of the country's natural forests (5,392,682 ha), and that the deforestation rate is 4% for the region, it is extremely important to understand that sustainable forest management could reduce forest loss and improve the economic conditions of the communities. However, the lack of knowledge about the species is such that it does not allow the development of productive projects with conservation purposes. In this sense, it is convenient to carry out the silvicultural compilation and systematization of the information for promising forest species in the region; giving key guidelines that allow their suitable management, use, and conservation, contributing this way to growth of the National information bank and becoming an academic support to interested communities in the sustainable use and conservation of native forest species investigated in this study.
