Identificar, publicar y disponer información de áreas potenciales para la ubicación de rellenos sanitarios mediante herramientas SIG en el departamento de Boyacá

Abstract

The Geographic Information Systems are a tool that allows storing, analyzing, process and understand spatial information, therefore it was proposed to propose a process that allows identifying, publishing and disposing information for the search of optimal areas that allow the adequate final disposal of solid waste. Under the fulfillment of criteria set forth in decree 0838 of 2005. For the development of the process, a spatial model was designed with the ArcGIS Model Builder tool that facilitated the combination of the spatial information together with the proposed criteria to determine the areas that were considered as optimal in the location of landfills. Finally, an approach was made to publishing technologies such as Geoserver and Arcgis Online, which allow users to share and offer information in real time, facilitating interaction with such information, contributing to a correct understanding and proper use of it.
