Resumen
Environmental conflicts arise with the manifestation of disagreement by an individual or group of individuals whose interests and notions about the use of natural resources differ from those expressed by another individual or organization. In Colombia, this phenomenon has already been studied and the academy has made efforts to explain such situations and provide support in solutions. In the town of Usme in the city of Bogotá DC, it is possible to identify environmental problems that potentially are configured as environmental conflicts, due to the particularities of the town, such as its rural extension, its main ecological structure and its development under which some authors they have called “state abandonment”. The study of environmental conflicts is approached from a qualitative approach with a descriptive scope, through the use of tools such as literary review, social cartography, interviews and data analysis. This document contains, in the first place, a referential framework that addresses the concept of environmental conflict, the characteristics of the town of Usme and the legal framework. In the second place, the methodology used to meet the objective is described. Third, the development of the proposed methodology, the conclusions obtained and finally, the bibliography consulted are detailed.
