Resumen
The contextual change places us before new languages and ways of thinking, this fact prompts us to look for new ways of thinking about these emerging languages of digital society. This research project is based on the axes referring to media competence, digital citizenship, digital social networks, in convergence with political and public emotions in order to carry out an analysis of the level of perception of public emotions immersed in digital social networks and their relationship with the construction of media competence. The above includes a problematization that arises from the need to search for different relational dynamics of the different languages that emerge in the different axes of analysis, and the possibility of blurring and integrating emotions as a significant element in the digital environment and builder of media competence from the dimensions of interaction and ideology and values, specific aspects in the development of the digital citizen. In short, it is intended to construct the elements concerned for the understanding of the different languages that are the different languages that are interwoven around these categories, establish their relationship with emotions as rational and cognitive processes within digital networks and study their relevance in the formation of media competence, fields that lack analysis in the sociocultural field. The research work is linked to the Euro-American Interuniversity Research Network on Media Competences for Citizenship ALFAMED.
