Resumen
In this document the identification of systems was developed in order to find the characteristic model of two of the elements that make up a cross-flow air exchanger. The identification alternative was selected when considering this technique as a very interesting tool to identify any type of real process, even more so when the dynamic system to which the modeling is carried out carried out tasks difficult to describe by conventional methods such as mathematical analysis.
The utility of finding the models that represent both the fan and the heating element of the system is to be able to compare the operation of the systems over time, without having to carry out physical inspections in the system that necessarily require the break of the activity that is makes. With the elaboration of models of the elements involved in a system, it is possible to detect and diagnose the possible failures that the process may have before they happen, as well as to implement control tasks in which the behavior is monitored without the intervention of personnel in large-scale processes where it is difficult to control.
The document begins with the search of the previous conditions that must be taken into account when using the identification of systems as a technique to find models of some elements of the heat exchanger, afterwards the equipment and the elements that were to be modeled were selected, taking into account account the importance of the work performed in the real process, then determine the input and output variables, as well as the ranges that allow the selected elements to obtain the estimation data that adapt to the subsequent treatment for modeling. Following this, the data capture, preprocessing and selection of the validation data with which the Matlab® identification tool was worked was carried out in order to finally find the models of two fundamental elements in a heat transfer process, as are the fan and the heating element of the system.
