Cuando la música es resistencia. un documental sobre la música de protesta, sus autores y su aporte en el marco del estallido social desde el año 2019

Abstract

In order to make visible the new repertoires of social and political content, emerging in the framework of social protests since 2019, a documentary is made in which several of the artists active in the creation of this type of repertoires and who were partly inspired by the framework of recent social demonstrations are presented. Through interviews, the narrative is oriented to the creation of this music and the motivations that the composers had to choose socio-political themes in their repertoire, as well as to collect the testimonies of their participation as artists, activists and citizens. The creation process was divided into three phases: The first phase is related to the repertoire, where a previous selection of suitable material for analysis, related to protest or social issues, is made. The second phase is the definition of the thematic axes that guide the interviews with the composers of the pieces and finally, the third phase is the entire production and post-production process of the audiovisual product. Finally, the impressions of a focus group are obtained about the documentary, the quality of its production, the narrative and the impact it generates on the viewers.
