Urban trees provide a large number of benefits such as improving the quality of life of its inhabitants, improving the environmental conditions of the city, recreation, physical and psychological well-being; However, the urban trees in the municipality of Inírida are presenting deterioration and sometimes considerable material damage that are the result of the inappropriate selection of species and the inefficiency in the management and management actions, for which in the present internship as a result of the inter-institutional agreement between the Francisco José de Caldas District University and the Mayor's Office of Inírida, activities stipulated within the GRASS CUTTING AND TREE PRUNING PROGRAM of the PGIRS (Regional Solid Waste Comprehensive Management Plan) were developed, which addresses issues related to with the urban trees of the municipality, through the forest census of 13.44 km in length at the ends of each roadway. Therefore, the result of the census of 1,393 arboreal individuals and palms, included in 26 families, 58 genera and 68 species, in which dasometric, phytosanitary, risk factors and the presence of silvicultural treatments were evaluated, being the species with the highest presence. of inconsistency in the management and sanitary level of Acacia (Senna siamea (Lam.) H.S.Irwin & Barneby) and Ocobo (Tabebuia rosea (Bertol) DC.), with more than 100 individuals within the urban woodland and the two most representative families were FABACEAE and ARECACEAE. Likewise, a spatial diagnosis of the state of each one of the factors evaluated and the tree density by number of individuals, individuals at risk and individuals without silvicultural treatments were developed, for which five zones in critical condition were defined, which presented the highest concentration of individuals in the previous mentioned criteria, being necessary to apply management with pruning, limbing, fertilization or felling depending on the circumstance that the individual presents in particular.
