Resumen
As a contribution to the professionalization process, based on the quality and optimization of the instrumentalists of the Trumpet Chair of the Academia Superior de Artes de Bogotá (ASAB), and given the importance of technical mastery and musical interpretation of the trumpet in its different eras and styles, this research work is presented related to the analysis of the Sonata in D (G.1) by Giuseppe Torelli and the Concerto in Eb by Franz Joseph Haydn, works composed in the Baroque and Classical periods respectively. For the construction of this document, it was essential to establish the historical-musical context of the works and the aforementioned composers, the analysis of each work, and the organology of the instrument in each of the referenced periods. Methodologically, this work has been based on the documentary review and the analysis of the two consulted works, thus deepening the study of some of their musical elements, namely: harmony, melodic-harmonic rhythm, dynamics, among others, as well as the scope and technical limitations of the solo instrument and its construction in both eras.
