Resumen
Colombia, a country where the economic situation for a large percentage of the population is not favorable, and unemployment rates are increasing, every day they resort to small enterprises and production alternatives, as is the case on the country's peaceful coasts. , which are currently looking for alternatives for the transformation of the food provided by these regions. There is the coconut in its species Cocos nucifera, as a matter of impact on the economy of these areas; In addition to its high nutritional and commercial value, it begins to have in the nutritional baskets of the country, products that mostly go through a process of transformation of the pulp, as is the case of grating for the elaboration of artisan products such as cocadas, cookies, desserts, delicacies and traditional gastronomic accompaniments of the region, to the industrialized extraction of oils for body care, consumption and some hygiene products. As the coconut-producing areas are found on the country's coasts, such as in Tumaco Nariño, a place where the national interconnected electrical system (SIN) arrives with difficulties and is vulnerable to attacks or natural effects, which generate the instantaneous cut of the electricity supply; in addition to the lack of electrical connection to rural areas where coconut crops are grown in its species Cocos nucifera; The problem arises for the technification of coconut transformation processes with electric machines, due to the lack of infrastructure in the area. For this reason, this project seeks to design a coconut grater that works with pedals, taking into account the entire power transmission system, the ergonomics of the machine, the selection of materials, as well as the study of loads to which it goes. be subjected and the determination of the useful life of the machine, all this to achieve greater efficiency in the grating of the coconut.
