Resumen
The purpose of this monograph is to present a methodological proposal for obtaining and using a novel biomass obtained from ahuyama peel, by analyzing the working conditions in studies and research that have used agro-industrial biomasses in the removal of Cr (VI) by means of batch removal tests. The objective of this monograph is to provide a proposal for obtaining and using biomass from ahuyama peel for biosorption of hexavalent chromium, Cr (VI). The formulation is based on studies and research compiled on the subject of biosorption of Cr (VI) in batch, in contaminated waters through the use of lignocellulosic waste biomasses. In addition, it is expected that this proposal will be developed in the future by researchers who wish to use this novel biomass and test its efficiency in the biosorption of Cr (VI).
