Resumen
This degree project evaluates the technical feasibility of reincorporating graywater and rainwater at the Plaza de las Américas Shopping Center in Bogotá, through the use of advanced biological processes with bacteria and microorganisms. This proposal seeks to optimize water resource management, reduce potable water consumption and minimize the water footprint of the establishment, in line with district policies and Colombian environmental regulations. The research includes microbiological and physicochemical analyses of the water, as well as the exploration of complementary technologies such as ozonation and ultrafiltration. The results show the potential of these systems to guarantee the quality of treated water and its reuse in non-potable activities, contributing to more sustainable and resilient water management in urban environments.
