Abstract

In order to achieve continuous improvement companies implement, methodologies that provide them meet their organizational goals. Among these is “The Plan of Integrated Solid Waste Management”. That based on the requirements of both the company and Colombian law, identifies and analyzes the weaknesses present in the management of solid waste. Therefore in the machining plant Soldexel Ltda., A proposal in which elements that benefit the environment and human health are included was performed. The formulation of the plan is framed by the knowledge of the production process by which they identify and evaluate the environmental aspects and impacts, thus enabling make a real assessment of the situation on site machining, so that it gave the tools to identify and characterize waste and for the planning of environmental management measures in order to ensure proper management of solid waste and on this basis the costs and benefits associated with the plan in the event of subsequent implementation.
