Resumen
This book is a conversation spread over time: it was born in 2005, when I was doing my teaching internship as an undergraduate student. The encounter with the reality and harshness of a classroom that sought to be inclusive and the suggestion of Professor Martha Cárdenas Giraldo—who was mentoring me at the time—to study a rarely addressed topic marked the path not only of the research results presented here, but also of a professional career that continues to explore "the same thing": listening. This work captures part of that journey, which was consolidated both in a doctoral thesis and in a macro-act of listening with the people involved in the research: the authors of the texts with whom I sought to weave an epistemology of listening and its didactics; the children and young people with whom I shared a language training space; the experts I interviewed; my peers; and my thesis advisor, Dora Inés Calderón. The reader will find a dialogical, reflective perspective based on Gadamerian hermeneutics and, mainly, on the dialogism of Buber and Bakhtin.
