Análisis y validación de los procesos en las bibliotecas de la Universidad Distrital Francisco José de Caldas haciendo uso del marco de referencia COBIT 19

Abstract

Currently, the libraries of the Universidad Distrital Francisco José de Caldas do not have a structured framework for the administration of information technologies. This has had a negative impact on the efficiency of services. This situation is reflected in long response times and inadequate management of IT resources, generating dissatisfaction among users. The project proposes the design of an improvement proposal for IT processes in libraries, using the COBIT 19 framework. The initiative focuses on analyzing current processes to identify strengths, weaknesses and opportunities for improvement, in order to design specific recommendations to optimize IT processes, with the aim of improving efficiency, resource management and service quality in libraries.
