Resumen
The information about science that provides the cinema to the students, tends mostly to be an alternative to the explanations on the scientific activity provide Studies in Epistemology and science education, leading to the ideas of students about the nature of science are distorted and deformed. Taking into account that the cinema is a powerful tool to attract the attention of the people and that this as it is known is developed in different genres, its use in the classroom as a tool for teaching and learning can encourage activities that promote the work of scientific literacy. This is expected to, therefore, contribute to the field of knowledge the didactics of science with the development of a monographic work that allows contextualize and promote the improvement of ideas of students on science, in consistency with contemporary developments in the line of research on education in science and the nature of the same. So things are emphasized in carrying out the project with students from grade 10º in secondary education, for reflecting on animated films, foster critical arguments about science, scientific activity and the role of science in society.
