Resumen
In Colombia, waste used cooking oil (ACU) in the urban sector and in the productive sectors, has become a problem generating negative impacts on the environment, specifically on natural resources such as water, soil and also on human health. Thus, from the Ministry of Environment and Sustainable Development, Resolution 316 of 2018 has been issued, which establishes provisions related to the management of these used cooking oils, as well as other provisions for producers, distributors and marketers of edible vegetable oils and, finally, used cooking oil managers who are responsible for the collection and use of these. As an objective of the process to be followed for the development of the internship, it will be accompanied in the analysis of the criteria evaluated by the entity for the modification or repeal of the normative instrument of the present resolution to the management of waste used cooking oil in the period of the second half of the year 2023 from the approach of the National Strategy for Circular Economy (ENEC), since to date there is no baseline information on the current situation to compare results and evaluate the criteria of the institutional scope of the draft standard, and finally, within a projection of the expected results, a reference database will be defined, a system of criteria and guidelines for sub-sector management will be defined and a proposal for improvement will be evaluated.
